I get a kick out this story....Kenneth Dubinski you are a TRUE American!!! By the way if none of you have heard thanks to guys like Kenneth Dubinski Chicago is now non-smoking. So that means no more Chicago Big Smoke, No more smoking in 1 of Chicago's hundreds of gorgeous Martini Lounges, and no more smoking in the flipping Harry Carey Bar WITH HIS PICTURE ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING....SMOKING A CIGAR!!!!!!!! We've got young kids at war 18, 19, and 20 years old fighting for us breathing in toxic fumes from gun fire and missile explosions. So that we are able to enjoy life's simple pleasures that we take for granted... such as a nice log fire inside our own homes that we work so hard for and this beauty doesn't want anyone to be able to have a wood burning fireplace(I wonder what our forefathers would say) INSIDE THEIR OWN HOUSE!!! Get ready Americans and make no mistake about it guys like Kenneth Dubinksi are out there and situations similar to this are arising every single day...its up to you as Americans to put a stop to it!!
Illinois: Anti-Smoking Advocate Now Lobbying For Wood Smoke Ban
Kenneth Dubinski, a resident of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and a longtime anti-smoking advocate, is leading a group called Breathe Healthy Air that campaigns against smoke from wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. Dubinski said he is bothered by wood smoke from his neighbors' homes and believes the State should offer incentives for homeowners to convert wood-burning fireplaces to natural gas. Mayor Craig Johnson has rejected Dubinski's request to reinstate a ban on outdoor fireplaces, saying it would infringe on people's property rights (AP 2/24).
